The Role
This position offers the opportunity to manage a busy and varied residential conveyancing caseload within a supportive and collaborative team. The role would suit a solicitor who is comfortable working autonomously while delivering a high standard of client service.Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a full residential property caseload, including sales, purchases and re-mortgages
- Handling freehold and leasehold transactions
- Advising clients throughout the conveyancing process and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and third parties
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm
- Contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing
- Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Confident and professional client-facing manner
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Experience using case management systems Desirable:
- Experience handling complex or high-value transactions
- Familiarity with leasehold and new-build matters
- Flexible and hybrid working options
